Do 5G and other cell phone networks causes cancer?

Recently I came across the rumor stating 5G tech as dangerous and causing cancer. On top of this, many times I have heard people say "Excessive use of cellphone causes cancer". So here is the scientific analysis proving the falseness of such claims.

5G and other cell phone networks work by sending and receiving RF waves from nearby towers. So when the radiation falls on your skin, there can be only two possible scenarios.
1) Damage to cells directly by radiation
2) Damage to cells indirectly by radiation.

Let's go through them one by one.

As we all know ionizing radiation is detrimental to our health, damaging DNA and killing cells. This same principle is used to kill cancer cells using Radiotherapy by Xrays. So if Xrays can kill cancer cells then can 5G tech and other mobile networks, which rely on radio waves, do similar damage? This is an assertion propagated by anti-5G activists, bluntly ignoring the size of the electromagnetic spectrum. As of the fact "Radiowaves" are nonionizing.

Radio Waves < Visible Light Rays < X-rays (Energy-wise comparison of a single wave packet)

To put in the context, Weakest visible light ray is 17,000 times more energetic than the highest energy 5G photon possible. So now if activists as concerned about Xrays damaging our DNA or breaking some chemical bonds in cells. They should be more concerned about lightbulb or the sun doing the same damage.

The second possibility, cell phones are held near the head when used, the main concern has been whether they contribute/assist in tumors in this area?

A recent large study by the US National Toxicology Program (NTP) exposed a large group of lab rats and mice to RF waves 9 hours a day from their birth continuing up to 2 years. The study indeed found an increased risk of tumors called malignant schwannomas of the heart in male rats exposed to radiation as well as increased risk of certain tumors in the brain. But still, it's not clear why there is increased risk only in male rats and no clear increased risk in female rats or among male or female mice in the study. Also, Doses given to the subjects of the study were too high as compared to the radiation given off by cell phones. On top of this, male rats exposed to the RF radiation lived longer, on average, than the other rats not exposed to RF radiation. So clearly the result of this study is not conclusive of RF radiation assisting tumor development and thus cannot be generalized for cell phone use in people.

Apart from this, there are many studies conducted by the American Cancer Society but none of them conclusively points to RF waves assist in the development of carcinogens.

That sums up! "You were wrong people. 5G and mobile phones won't cause you cancer".
